Iowa vs. Minnesota

The top-ranked Iowa wrestling team celebrated senior day with a 25-9 victory over #11Minnesota Sunday afternoon, February 15, 2009 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The Hawkeyes remain undefeated at 22-0. Hawkeye seniors Charlie Falck (125), Alex Tsirtsis (141), Derek Coorough (149) and T.H. Leet (165) were honored before the dual. In the first match Sanders of Minnesota upset #4 ranked Falck for his first dual meet loss this season. Minnesota also won the 157 and the heavyweight classes. Overall Minnesota stuck with the top ranked Iowa. There was only one pin and one major decision.
